  1. Why do I have to register?

    Registering allows the VanGoTM system to find appropriate matches for you and to then email would-be matches to you for review and response. Registering also makes it easier to log your commutes and find transit or trip planning plans to make your trip easier.

  2. What information will other commuters see?

    Commuters will see your first name and approximate location of your start and end addresses on a map. Optionally, some sites may require you to enter your phone number. To protect your privacy, VanGoTM locks the map view at a high level, so the exact location of your home is not visible.

  3. Will you keep my info private and not use it for other purposes?

    VanGoTM always keeps your information private and does not share information with third parties.

  4. Will I receive emails from you if I register?

    As a registered user, you may receive notices of new matches when they are found. This reduces the need to check the site repeatedly for new matches and helps you best and most efficiently find a commute partner. You may also receive email announcements of promotions and new features. However, you may opt out of emails at any time - just look for the unsubscribe link in the footer of any email you receive from us.
